When are the Women’s Worlds 50/50 draws?

The Women’s Worlds 50/50 runs from March 28, 2023 to April 16, 2023*. There are multiple draws in the province of Ontario. Please refer to the schedule provided on the Women’s Worlds 50/50 page for more details.

 How many Women’s Worlds 50/50 draws are there?

 There are six draws in Ontario:

  •  Draw #1 – March 28 – April 5 (Pre-Tournament / CAN vs. SUI – April 5)
    • Draw date: April 5 by 11 p.m. ET
  • Draw #2 – April 6-7 (CAN vs. CZE – April 7)
    • Draw date: April 7 by 11 p.m. ET
  • Draw #3 – April 8-10 (CAN vs. JPN – April 8 / CAN vs. USA – April 10)
    • Draw date: April 10 by 11 p.m. ET
  •  Draw #4 – April 11-13 (Quarterfinals / OWHA Provincials – April 13-16)
    • Draw date: April 13 by 11 p.m. ET
  • Draw #5 – April 14-15 (Semifinals)
    • Draw date: April 15 by 11 p.m. ET
  • Draw #6 – April 16 (Medal Games)
    • Draw Date: April 16 by 11 p.m. ET

 How can I enter the Women’s Worlds 50/50?

You must be in the province of Ontario at the time of your purchase. Visit WomensWorlds5050.ca. Follow the prompts on the page to purchase. The website uses geo-fencing technology to ensure you are in the province.

 Note: You must be of legal age to purchase tickets in the province of Ontario. Please refer to the Eligibility section of the Rules of Play on the provincial page for information.

 How much are Women’s Worlds 50/50 tickets?

 One ticket for $10, 40 tickets for $20, 90 tickets for $30 and 250 tickets for $50.

 Can I play/buy more than one time for each draw?

 There is no limit on ticket purchases for each draw.

 What time do draws open and what time do they close at for each draw?

 Women’s Worlds 50/50 draws open and close at various times. Please refer to the Rules of Play for specific details.

Where do the charitable proceeds of the 50/50 sales go towards?

All proceeds from the Women’s Worlds 50/50 will remain in the province of Ontario to be invested in the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund, which will enable more girls and women in the province to get involved in the sport and improve their quality of life through hockey by providing subsidized hockey registration . Proceeds will also be invested in the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) to provide hockey experiences for girls and women in Ontario.

How do I receive my tickets?

You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets following your payment. Your email address must be entered correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure you receive your tickets.

 How long does it take to receive my 50/50 tickets once purchased?

You should receive your tickets within an hour. If your transaction is approved, you will be directed to a web page displaying your confirmation ID. You will also receive an email containing the same confirmation ID as provided on the web page. Finally, you will receive a second email containing your 50/50 raffle numbers.

Please note that due to high sales volume, it can take up to an hour to receive your second email. Ticket purchasers are required to enter their email address correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure they receive their tickets. If you do not receive your tickets within an hour, check your spam and junk mail folders. If your tickets are not in your spam or junk mail folders, please email 5050@hockeycanada.ca.

Am I able to get a refund?

All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase.

Can I gift my ticket(s)?

Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears on the ticket purchase.

 How do I check to see if my ticket(s) won?

Check your 50/50 ticket numbers on the page for the provincial draw you entered. For more details, please refer to the Rules of Play.
